drawing limits

is it worth setting your drawing limits to your paper size and if so is there a way of customising the drawing limits to suit paper sizes for example been able to simply choose (ISO A4), surely this would easier for plotting.
by the way, the tutorials are fantastic, they really get you over the first daunting hurdles, thanx
